THE EVANCELICAL CHURCH OF YEREVAN (ECY)
The mission of the Evangelical Church of Yerevan is to spread God’s word such that the population will recognize Jesus Christ as their personal savior, and to rekindle the faith witness by Krikor Lusavorich in the heart of every Armenian Christian.
Having no theological differences with the mother sea, the Evangelical Church of Yerevan often participates in the rituals of the mother church.
The members of the Evangelical Church of Yerevan are baptizes of the Apostolic Church.
On various occasions, the authority of the mother church is recognized by the participation of key leaders of the Apostolic Church during the worship conducted in the Evangelican Church of Yerevan. Its ministry has received encouragement and blessings from both Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin I and Karekin II
Pastor Bardakjian actively participates in the struggle against various cults that have penetrated Armenia.
In 1993, during the Conference of the World Council of Churches in Etchmiadzin, he has presented a paper on the Penetration of the Cults in Armenia.
In 1996, he has lectured in the Armenian Apostolic Church Seminary of Guimri.
Pastor Bardakjian has also embarked on many initiatives that facilitate the cooperation of the various Armenian Christian Churches, in promoting programs that benefit the Armenian people and the homeland.
