HUMANITARIAN AID

After the earthquake of 1988, when Armenia was under an economic embargo imposed by its enemies, Pastor Bardakjian directed the first two flights funded
by Kirk Krikorian, through United Armenian Fund.
Four days after the liberation of Shushi, Pastor Bardakjian was in town, with much needed humanitarian aid.
Acting as the translator and consultant to Baroness Cox, the orthopedic prosthetic center was founded in Stepanakert.
In the Siligian district’s 3rd village, CCMI administered Nia’s soup kitchen, totally funded by the renowned British singer Nia. The Soup Kitchen served 150 people daily, who were refugees from the Shahumian district of mountainous Artzakh.
Pastor Bardakjian has organized many medical outreaches from various countries, to reach the needs of people in various towns in Armenia.
An eye clinic was opened in Kapan, where many eye operations were performed free of charge.
In response to Pastor Bardakjian’s plea, Dr Johnny Haddad, a Syrian-Armenian has performed dozens of laparoscopic operations free of charge, and has consulted hundreds of patients.
