Pastor Bardkajian recognized that in addition to catering to the spiritual and cultural needs of the people, it was important to administer to their physical health.
Driven by that concern, he established 5-day clubs and summer camps in various cities in Armenia, Artzakh and Georgia.
The most prominent among them is the St. Naregatzi camp in Dilijan, the opening ceremony of which was attended by Baroness Caroline Cox, Mr. Hanz Schtogerber (the president and founder of Christian Solidarity International - CSI), Mr. Zori Balayan, various leaders of the Armenian Apostolic Church and various pastors of the Armenian Evangelical Churches in Armenia.
During the August of 2009, our “St. Narekatsi” Summer Camp hosted over 150 campers from our Church in Yerevan and children from Kharabax (29 children from Shoushi region of MKR and 30 children from Karmir axpiur).
They spent 5 blissful days in the gorgeous resort city of Dilijan.
Among the campers we had groups of women, youth, teens and children and many of them came to know the Lord during those days.
The ESY Yound Leaders Karoon and Lilit served God and kids in the camp with great enthusiasm.
We are delighted to see devoted young people in our church who are passionate about serving God and also express my gratitude to the Lord for equipping this labor for His field.
